Westminster tax rate increases by one cent (Sentinel & Enterprise)

WESTMINSTER -- The town's tax rate for the current fiscal year has been set at $11.73 per $1,000 of property, which is a one-cent increase from last year's $11.72, according to Treasurer/Tax Collector Melody L. Gallant, and applies to both residential and commercial property.

GRPS Board to ask voters to renew 18-mill levy (The Grand Rapids Press)

GRAND RAPIDS -- The Grand Rapids Board of Education is planning to ask voters to renew an 18-mill levy on commercial property, and might consider making the vote an annual affair.
