Commerce Bancorp Sells Insurance Unit (AP via Yahoo! Finance)
Commerce Bancorp Inc. completed the sale of its insurance brokerage business for an undisclosed sum. The sale -- to a group led by Commerce Insurance Services' chairman, George Norcross, and president, Michael Tiagwad -- includes Commerce's commercial property and casualty, employee benefits and other specialty insurance lines.
