October PMI data show rampant construction (Reuters.co.uk)

LONDON (Reuters) - Building construction picked up at its fastest pace in seven months in October and looks set to accelerate further in the months ahead, a survey of business conditions in the commercial property sector showed on Friday.

Nov. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Hypo Real Estate Holding AG, a German commercial property lender, said third-quarter profit rose 37 percent on higher interest income. The shares dropped the most since May 2004 as new-business margins continued to decline.
